La Petita
You are the greatest
feline I have ever met. You handled the three babies I brought
home with charm, even the tail pickups at toddler age. When I
brought home the puppy, I didn't think you cared for her at all,
but you came around and hissed at her, and even played. I miss
you in my life. You are in my heart, Pete. Thanks for 14 years
of companionship and your love. |

Aileron Rock
May 1985-September 13, 1999

|
Aileron was given to me by a family
I once babysat for. They found his mother, a trailer court stray,
in their woodpile when she was just about ready to have the kittens.
I don't remember how many kittens were in the litter, but they
were all adorable. I chose Aileron because he was noisy, as if
he was telling me
."Pick me! Pick me!". That was
in Minnesota, 1985, 14 ½ years ago. Many years and many
good memories have passed and are mine to remember forever. I
am grateful that that family was good enough to take in Aileron's
mother and grateful that they saw to it that the kittens had
a chance for a good home. If it wasn't for them, a big part of
my life would have been missing. |
