The Petersburg Humane Association has a temporary shelter for cats, but none for dogs at this time. We do, however, foster strays and other animals who have nowhere else to go, as we work to build a permanent shelter for both dogs and cats. All these animals need homes. Click on the heading to see photos and further descriptions of the animals listed. If you are interested in adopting any of the animals shown on these pages, please contact us at 518-1091 and leave a message. We'll call you back. Some animals are turned in as strays that may, in fact, be somebody's beloved pet. So if you're missing an animal, check here to see if one of these is yours. As a service, we will also post missing animals to help their guardians locate them.
