Volunteers
are always needed and welcomed!
We have the means to shelter homeless cats and can always use volunteers
to socialize them and make sure they have food and clean water and litter.
Even better for the animals is living in foster homes where they're around
people more than is possible in an all-volunteer shelter situation.
Lacking a shelter for dogs, we rely heavily on foster
homes for dogs needing a safe environment while looking for permanent
"parents." We also care for dogs impounded by Petersburg Animal
Control.
As we build our new shelter and prepare the adjacent public dog park
for safe use, we need volunteers to help with a variety of jobs. Ask Anne
Lee (907-772-4610) how you can help.
