It is the shared belief of Petersburg Humane Association (PHA) members that all domesticated animals deserve to live in loving homes; homes in which our animal friends can count on shelter from the elements, food to eat, medical care (including spaying and neutering), respect, and loving attention from "their humans." Sadly, we acknowledge, that not all creatures have been afforded these minimum standards of care. Petersburg Humane Association's ultimate goal is to find responsible, lifelong homes for the animals that have come to rely on our protection out of necessity.

A wise, quiet soul who is chilling while he awaits a purrfect home. You have to make the first move with Theo, he will not seek attention, but is okay with pets and enjoys being held on a lap. Prefers a home with older children and no other cats. Middle aged neutered male with up to date with vaccinations.

4 year old spayed female, up to date on vaccinations. Though shy at first meeting, once she warms up and feels comfortable with you, she’ll make the perfect companion. She is a real sweetheart waiting for her person to love.

2-4 year old polydactyl male, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He’s accustomed to living outside and has learned that inside life isn’t so bad after all. He loves a good belly rub and would do best in a household with older children. Look at those toes!

Please be aware that each application is carefully reviewed and every effort is made to make the best possible match.
All of our adoptees have been spayed or neutered if they are old enough and have had age appropriate vaccinations. If they are too young, the adopter will have to agree to have them altered as soon as they are old enough.
